Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Retail Pack uses cookies and similar technologies on retailpack.uk and in the sign-in application at pos.retailpack.uk. The short version: this marketing site sets no first-party cookies of its own, and the platform uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep signed-in users signed in. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Retail Pack is a trading name of Swift Dynamics, registered in England & Wales, company number [COMPANY_NUMBER], registered office Maruti House, 1st Floor, 369 Station Road, Harrow, Middlesex, United Kingdom, HA1 2AW. 1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in, or which language you chose. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another domain (for example, an embedded analytics or advertising service) are called third-party cookies.
Cookies also differ in how long they last. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies — such as local storage — can store information on your device in comparable ways, and UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside UK GDPR) treats them similarly: strictly necessary storage needs no consent, while anything used for analytics or marketing does.
2. Cookies on this website
We believe in keeping things simple: this marketing website (retailpack.uk) sets no first-party cookies of its own. There is no analytics tracker, no advertising pixel and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. You can browse every page of this site without any cookie being written by us.
Cookies are used in exactly one place in the Retail Pack ecosystem — the sign-in application at pos.retailpack.uk, where session and authentication cookies are essential to keep merchants and their staff securely signed in. These are strictly necessary and are only set once you sign in to the platform.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookies | pos.retailpack.uk (Retail Pack) | Authenticate signed-in merchants and staff, maintain the session securely and protect against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary — first party | Session, or a short authenticated period |
| Google Fonts (no cookie) | fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com (Google) | This site loads its typefaces from Google's fonts CDN. Google may log the font request (including your IP address) to serve the file, but the Google Fonts API does not set cookies | Not a cookie — external resource note | Not applicable |
Because the platform cookies are strictly necessary for a service you have expressly requested (signing in), consent is not required for them under UK law — though you can still block them (see Section 4), at the cost of not being able to sign in.
3. Third-party services
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies on this website. If we introduce any such service in future — for example, a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how visitors use the site — we will update this page before doing so, explain what is collected and by whom, and request your consent through a cookie banner where the law requires it. Any non-essential cookies would only ever be set after you agree.
4. Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — for all sites, or site by site. You can also set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Bear in mind that blocking the strictly necessary cookies set by pos.retailpack.uk will prevent you from signing in to the platform.

More general guidance on cookies and your rights is available from the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — in particular if we add any new cookie or similar technology to this website or the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes affecting merchants will also be notified through the platform or by email.
